A European delivery promise starts at origin

A sourcing plan can look sound while the operating handoffs remain unclear. Supplier readiness, booking decisions, documentation, gateway capacity and destination collection all influence the same delivery commitment. My advisory focus is to connect these dependencies so that commercial and operational teams can make decisions with a shared view of risk.

My core operating experience is in Bangladesh, including international freight forwarding, commercial leadership, operations and country management. India forms part of my regional advisory focus for multi-origin supply chains. I do not claim India-specific client results or a European office.

Where a focused review can help

Logistics execution

Map the journey from factory cargo readiness through origin handover and European delivery. Identify unclear responsibilities, missed information and escalation points before redesigning the process.

Freight forwarding advisory

Compare air, ocean and multimodal options against cargo needs. Review booking practices, feeder dependencies, quotation assumptions and carrier coordination with the responsible providers.

Supply chain consulting

Connect service KPIs, inventory exposure and commercial commitments. Define operating priorities and decision ownership across sourcing, logistics, finance and customer-facing teams.

Trade lane resilience

Examine how gateway or connection changes affect particular orders. Develop alternatives, decision triggers and a workable escalation routine rather than relying on a single transit-time assumption.

Start with a decision, then define the work

An introductory discussion should identify the decision you need to make: improving origin reliability, reviewing a freight operating model, understanding disruption exposure or coordinating a transformation programme. From there, a scoped review can establish the evidence required, the stakeholders involved and an appropriate next step.

  1. Understand the operating picture. Share a non-confidential overview of origins, destination markets, product needs, current handoffs and the business problem.
  2. Map dependencies and assumptions. Identify where supplier readiness, transport capacity, documentation and information quality influence the outcome.
  3. Set practical priorities. Agree which issues require provider confirmation, internal process changes or a deeper assessment, and who owns the next decision.

Possible engagement formats include an origin-to-market review, a resilience workshop, an operating-model assessment or a business-led supply chain intelligence discussion. Deliverables, availability and responsibilities are agreed for each engagement; no savings or delivery outcome is promised in advance.

Experience you can examine

My career began in logistics in 2004. I joined GEODIS in 2013 and became Managing Director of GEODIS Bangladesh in 2020. The portfolio includes documented professional activity and European collaboration, with links to original public records. Employer references describe experience and do not imply endorsement of personal advisory services.

For European teams sourcing from South Asia

The intended audience includes teams in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands and Germany, as well as other European markets. The focus is the connection between South Asian origin realities and European delivery requirements. Contact does not imply local establishment, regulatory authorisation or immediate engagement availability.

Common questions

Is this a freight booking service?

This is a personal professional advisory portfolio. Carrier bookings, transport execution and customs representation require an agreed scope and appropriately authorised service providers. A review can help frame the operating questions without replacing provider confirmation.

Can we discuss Bangladesh and India together?

Yes, a corridor review can consider multi-origin dependencies. Bangladesh is the centre of my operating experience; India is a regional advisory focus. Specific local requirements should be validated with the responsible origin teams and qualified specialists.

What should we include in an enquiry?

Include your role, origin and destination markets, the decision or execution challenge, and the kind of discussion you are seeking. Please leave out confidential customer data and commercially sensitive documents at this stage.

Bring an operating question

Start with the issue that affects your sourcing or delivery plan. We can assess whether a focused discussion or review would be useful, subject to availability and existing professional responsibilities.
